How do I troubleshoot issues with AEA?
If ACME is installed but not communicating with the AEA extension:
-
Make sure ACME is running. For help, visit the ACME updates are not running article on it.amazon.com.
-
Your browser’s privacy extensions might interfere with communication between AEA and ACME. Disable any privacy extensions, restart your browser, and try using tools or services you had trouble accessing.
If your device is not registered with AEA or unable to generate identity information:
-
ACME will attempt to register your device. Wait an average of 2-3 minutes, and then try using tools or services you had trouble accessing. Make sure you’re connected to the corporate network first.
-
Try the troubleshooting steps in the Support section of the AEA Support wiki.
-
Use the AEA User Authentication Status Tool to temporarily opt out of AEA. Then connect to VPN. Only opt out of AEA as a last resort.
